Overview of this DVD: Funny. Very funny. This is a spoof docu-soap type programme that works. Everyone knows a 'Brian Potter' in some way, shape, or form. More people know a 'Jerry St. Clair'. It's things like this that make the series so funny. You can relate to the people involved, and there's humour thrown in for good measure too. Here's the official word about the film
Legendary social club owner Brian Potter and his hapless band of staff and regulars are determined to make the Phoenix Club a success no matter what. Not even a racist folk band, an unforeseeable psychic or a drunken horse will get in the way of their dream that 'Clubland will never die'.
Here for the first time on DVD, the complete Series One, episodes one to six of the award winning Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights.
